Every effort was made to ensure that the districts/wards were based upon physcial features as defined by the Census Bureau; the districts/wards were compact, contiguous, and as equal in population as practical. The variance between the districts/wards did not exceed 10% between the most populous and the least populous district/ward. These districts were approved by the City of Tulsa Election District Commission on December 2021 and further revised and adopted by ordinance #24801 on April 6, 2022 by the Tulsa City Council.
