This file is a subset of the overall state school district file receieved from the Center for Spatial Analysis at the University of Oklahoma. The districts were chosen based upon county and then dissolved to show the entire district that falls within the boundaries of Creek, Muskogee, Okmulgee, Osage, Pawnee, Rogers, Tulsa, Wagoner and Washington counties. Also a hyperlink was added to the attribute data for those districts that have a website for their schools. This layer was put together to show the boundaries of the school districts as they are maintained for the Oklahoma Department of Education. This layer is valid as of September 2014.
