Description: The boundary lines of the four wards of the city shall be defined as follows:Ward 1 shall consist of all that portion of the city within the North and East portions of the city and contain all that portion of the city northerly and easterly of the following line: Beginning on the centerline of Albany Street at the midpoint between Olive Avenue and Aspen Avenue; thence east for approximately one mile along the centerline of Albany Street to its intersection with the centerline of the Broken Arrow Expressway; thence southeasterly along the centerline of the Broken Arrow Expressway to its intersection with the centerline of Elm Place; thence north along the centerline of Elm Place to its intersection with Albany Street and the boundary of State House districts 75 and 98; thence one mile east following the boundary line between State House Districts 75 and 98 to the intersection of Albany Street and 9th Street; thence continuing east for one mile along the centerline of Albany Street to its intersection with the centerline of 23rd Street (County Line Road); thence one mile south along the centerline of 23rd Street (County Line Road) to its intersection with the centerline of Kenosha Street; thence three miles east along the centerline of Kenosha Street to its intersection with the centerline of Oneta Road; thence two miles south along the centerline of Oneta Road to its intersection with the centerline of Washington Street; thence east along the centerline of Washinton Street to its intersection with Oak Grove Road. Also, that portion of the city within the east half of Section 9, Township 18 North, Range 15 East. Ward 2 shall consist of all that portion of the city within the North and West portion of the city and contain all the portion of the city enclosed within the following line: Beginning at the centerline of Garnett Road and the centerline of Albany Street; thence east two and half miles along the centerline of Albany Street to the centerline of the Broken Arrow Expressway; thence southeast along the centerline of the Broken Arrow Expressway to its intersection with Elm Place; thence south approximately two and a half miles along the centerline of Elm Place to its intersection with Washington Street; thence three miles west along the centerline of Washington Street to the centerline of Garnett Road; thence north three miles along the centerline of Garnett Road to the point of beginning. Ward 3 shall consist of all that portion of the city within the South and West portion of the city and contain all that portion of the city southerly and westerly of the following line: Beginning at the centerline of Garnett Road and Washington Street; thence three miles east along the centerline of Washington Street to the centerline of its intersection with Elm Place; thence four miles south along the centerline of Elm Place its intersection with the centerline of Jasper Street; thence one mile west along the centerline of Jasper Street to the centerline of its intersection with Aspen Avenue; thence south along Aspen Avenue to the intersection with the northern bank of the Arkansas River; thence in a generally westerly but irregular direction along the northern bank of the Arkansas River to its intersection with the centerline of Garnett Road.Ward 4 shall consist of all that portion of the city within the South and East portions of the city and contains all that portion of the city lying southerly and easterly of the following line: Beginning at the centerline of the Aspen Avenue and the northern bank of the Arkansas River; thence north one mile along Aspen Avenue to the centerline of Jasper Street; thence east one mile along the centerline of Jasper Street to the centerline of Elm Place; thence north 7 miles along the centerline of Elm Street to its intersection with Albany Street, said point also being on the boundary line of State House Districts 75 and 98; thence east one mile following the boundary line between State House Districts 75 and 98 to the intersection of Albany Street and 9th Street; thence continuing east for one mile along the centerline of Albany Street to its intersection with the centerline of 23rd Street (County Line Road); thence one mile south along the centerline of 23rd Street (County Line Road ) to its intersection of the centerline of Kenosha Street; thence east two miles along the centerline of Kenosha Street to its intersection of the centerline of Evans Road; thence one mile south along the centerline of Evans Road to its intersection of the centerline of Houston Street; thence one mile east along the centerline of Houston Street to its intersection with the centerline of Oneta Road; thence south one mile along the centerline of Oneta Road to its intersection with the centerline of Washington Street; thence east two miles along Washington Street to its intersection with Oak Grove Road. Also, all that portion of the city within the west half of Section 9, Township 18 North, Range 15 East.
